Anesthesiologist (Full-Time and Part-Time)

RCPSC certification in anesthesia (or equivalent) and license to practice in Ontario required

Anesthesiologists interested in practicing with our world-class medical team will find:

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all established anesthesia protocols and techniques are safe, maintain the highest quality care to patients and comply with applicable community/medical standards. Should changes be desired, or required, to assist in establishing protocols and techniques, develop a plan for approval to test and evaluate any changes prior to their implementation. All proposed changes, plans and revaluation results must be reviewed and approved by the Chief Surgeon and Management;
  • Responsible for reviewing the appropriateness of all surgical cases including completion of required anesthesia consultations for surgery as required;
  • Participating in Chart and OR Committees as required;
  • After performing the duties of the full-time or part-time Anesthetist, and fulfilling required daily administrative tasks, participate as appropriate.
  • Participation in internal and external research projects as requested by Management.
